3 Easy DIY Halloween Costume Ideas

easy-diy-halloween-costumes

I honestly cannot believe Halloween is almost here. I feel like I totally missed September and now being in the city I don’t get to see all the leaves changing for October – definitely something I miss about the suburbs. Anyway, the older I get the lazier I get in terms of celebrating holidays. This year I want to have cheap, easy Halloween costume ideas that I can preferably make at home with stuff I already have. None of that cut this, paint that, glue this, sew that nonsense – I don’t have time for all that. What I do have time for are super easy DIY Halloween costumes like a football player, cowgirl, and witch. But Not Another Blonde is not that basic which is why I made these instead…

biker bunny

If you’ve never heard of “Biker Bunny” before that’s because I just made it up. I mean, most of you fashionable girls have a biker jacket, black jeans, black boots, and a black bodysuit already so all you really need are some bunny ears from Topshop.

You can also make this costume into “Possessed Bunny” if you want a creepier vibe and paint your face all crazy. I personally think the creepier the better.

Whatever you decide, the point of this costume is that it is a super easy DIY since you’re only getting one little accessory. I love being able to wear things more than once so even if you don’t have the biker jacket, jeans, or boots, this Halloween costume is an excuse to go shopping for things you’ll wear again and again.

flower child

I figure the flower crown was the easiest and cutest halloween costume to make using things you already own. Plus the flower crown is less than $2! If you really don’t want to spend the $2 on the flower crown then you can totally turn this DIY Halloween costume into Penny from Almost Famous. I love that this costume doubles as two.

“model off duty”

Again, I’m going to pat myself on the back for this Halloween costume too. Model off duty always cracks me up because the whole fascination with what models wear has become such a thing it has its own name: “model off duty”. Anyway, this costume is probably the easiest and most comfortable of the three.

What’s your favorite Halloween costume? Mine is the “model off duty”.

Thanks Elise! A cat is SUPER fitting for you haha. I wouldn’t expect anything less. I don’t even know what I’m doing for Halloween yet but hopefully, I’ll be able to use one of these costumes since I own half the stuff already! Have a great weekend doll! xx
