In addition to videos, I’ve been wanting to incorporate more outfit shots on NAB. I wish you could all see how time-consuming, calculated, and sometimes embarrassing the whole process is, (maybe I’ll do a Snapchat or video on this?), which is why I haven’t been doing as much “photoshoot”-esque stuff as I used to. So as a temporary replacement I thought a weekly roundup of affordable outfit inspiration, including links, would be even better.
These are real outfits that I’ve worn to work to beat the heat in NYC. And I can get away with wearing these outfits outside of work, (thank you H&M). I really want to show you how you can take the same 5-7 pieces and mix and match to have completely different outfits each week. I don’t think I’ve repeated one single outfit yet. I find a slick low bun looks best with sleeveless turtlenecks. I wear this turtleneck so much, by the way.
This skirt is another piece you’ve probably seen on repeat all summer. It’s so lightweight and certainly beats the heat in NYC.
These culottes are literally cool as they’re made from silk which is perfect for summer in the city.
I wear this black skirt and sneakers almost every Friday for “casual Fridays” at the office.
