8 Accessories Every Blogger Needs

blogger needs

You know how they say behind every successful man is a woman? Well, behind every successful blogger is an entire army of necessities that make it all possible. That’s not to say that if you get everything in this guide you’ll be an instant success. It takes a lot more than things to make you a successful blogger. However, these little guys have played an integral role in my organization, productivity, and effectiveness as a blogger and I can only hope they do the same for you.

1 | The P.F. Candle Co. makes some of the most delicious candles I have ever smelled in my life. Don’t get me wrong, I still love my Signature Soys from Target, but I love an “off the beaten path” candle that you can only get at a boutique store or… Urban Outfitters.

2 | My Instastory has been flooded with this pink Himalayan salt lamp. At first, I wasn’t totally impressed because my sleeping habits did not improve and I was still getting ulcers in my mouth, (TMI but I ain’t sorry). Now I am a total advocate! After a few days I was sleeping soundlessly and my ulcers have been minimal. My new motto is: the bigger the lamp the better you’ll feel.

3 | I cannot live without this case. It’s one of the cheapest, most durable phone cases I’ve found. It has a front “lip” so it’s protected if it falls but it’s not bulky and ugly like some of the other super protective cases.

6 | I can’t even keep track of how many times I’ve referenced my Sugar Paper Planner. I Snap about it, talk about it in blog posts, and use it every single day. This bad boy keeps me organized and on schedule every year.

4 | My laptop needs all the extra cushion it can get. I’m a blogger, I’m on the go, and I usually just throw my laptop in with all my other stuff so I need to know it will be protected, cue the marble laptop sleeve.

Wow, that sounded so sales-y, I promise this isn’t sponsored. I just really need double the protection on my laptop, so I’ll get a clear plastic case (see below) and a soft sleeve.

5 | Speck makes some of the most reliable laptop cases. I love that it has a hard rubber shell instead of that slippery plastic. My only beef with them is that they don’t make the most creative cases, hence the marble laptop sleeve above. I mean at least give us some kind of design to choose from.

7 | So that weird lookin’ thing up there is a geode or crystal. It has a similar effect as the salt lamp in that it’s supposed to bring you prosperity and serenity. I keep mine by my window at my desk because the moon “recharges” it. (Click here to learn how to have a full moon party.)

I know crystals are the cool thing to have now but I’ve been using crystals for years and I don’t plan on stopping any time soon because I believe in them that much.

8 | It’s no surprise I’m obsessed with Target (just follow me on Snapchat @notanothrblonde for a day), so any time Nate Berkus comes out with a new product line, I’m on it, especially when it comes to desk decor.

My desk is so big, white, and empty so I need aesthetically pleasing accents to make it interesting. That’s exactly what this gold desk organizer does.

What are your go-to blogger necessities?

All such great selections! …I have a large drawing pad (which is kept at home when I’m working on blog from home), where I will doodle away on how I vision whatever post I’m working on. Im a tad of an arty creative person drawing wise and like to draw away how I am seeing things in my mind.

No but I should. I just don’t have the time for the artwork for my blog, maybe ONEDAY if I’m successful to work from home because of my blog. I just have a vision in my head of how I want my posts look like, that it helps me to draw/scribble it down and then arrange the look format of the post xx

Susana no one ever has the time to blog, you have to MAKE the time! It’s about sacrificing your favorite tv show or time with your family for your blog. The harder you hustle now, the less you’ll have to hustle later. Trust me! xx
