How to | Dress Like a Parisian Without Attending Paris Fashion Week

paris fashion week 2017

I think out of all the fashion weeks, Paris is the one I’d really like to go to. Paris fashion weeks always look out of this world. The creativity, music, food… it’s the cream of the crop. I can’t wait to go, but until then. My Paris fashion week collages will have to suffice…

1 | This asymmetrical top is SO unique and very different for me and any other minimalist but it was definitely a trend I saw at Paris fashion week so I decided to include it.

2 | I don’t know if it’s just me or if this Gucci belt really does go with everything. Jeans and t-shirt, jeans and a blazer, a silk blouse and culottes… the Gucci belt has got you covered.

3 | Ever since I saw one of my favorite Parisian bloggers wearing a fiddler hat, I knew I had to have one. Brixton makes the most incredible hats and I was thrilled they has this one.

4 | Levi’s are every Paris girl’s favorite, affordable jean. I didn’t realize just how affordable they were until I found this pair. Levi’s definitely gives Topshop jeans a run for their money.

5 | I wasn’t going to include two hats in this Parisian round up but when in Rome Paris, right? As cliche as it sounds, every Parisian wannabe (aka me) needs a beret. I’m both sad and thrilled berets are back in style because I got rid of all mine years ago but I’ll happily pay the $20 for more.

6 | Every Parisian owns a boyfriend blazer because they’re effortless with a masculine undertone which is what a French girl’s style is all about.

7 | The older I get, the more accepting I become of investment pieces. This YSL bag is one of those pieces. There are a few designer bags/items that I think every fashion girl should have and YSL is definitely on that list. (If you want me to do a blog post on my favorite investment pieces comment below!)

8 | Square sunglasses are just the “thing” right now. Parisian or otherwise, you need to get yourself a pair of square sunnies. I’m really into this Marc Jacobs pair because they look similar to Celine’s for a quarter of the price.

9 | I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, sneakers are a Parisian’s best friend, especially if they’re Adidas. I still can’t get over the fact sneakers are still in style but I’m certainly glad they are.

What has been your favorite fashion week this year and why? Tell me in the comments!
