Oh, Valentine’s Day. So cliche and corny, but every year you get suckered into it and want to make this year better than last. I have to admit that I love the idea of sprinkling your loved one with gifts “just because” you love him/her. I’ll actually take a gift every day of the year for that matter. Speaking of, I have no idea what Patricio has planned up his sleeve for Valentine’s Day but let’s hope it involves some of the gifts here.
1 | You really can’t go wrong with any red lip color on Valentine’s Day for your lady… especially if it’s matte. This MAC color is a deep crimson which I prefer over the traditional red. Bright red lips are overrated.
2 | This Free People bralette is great for more than just Valentine’s Day, which is exactly why I picked it. It’s subtly festive so she gets the hint (red lining for V-Day) but it’s not some ridiculously intricate piece of lingerie where she’ll never wear it.
3 | This Laura Mercier lotion is the best-smelling lotion on the planet. She puts this on and you will literally want to eat her. I have the hand lotion and I’m tempted to lick my hands, but I don’t because that’s weird…
4 | Another delicious smelling scent is Jazz Club of the Replica series. Oh. Em. Gee. It’s almost a masculine scent so guys, you won’t want to gag when she wears it. It’s also super sensual so you know, it’ll get the mojos flowin’.
5 | This necklace won’t break the bank and it’s not tacky like those diamond heart necklaces. Guys, trust me when I say no girl wants a heart necklace, not one!
6 | On the other hand, Ouai hair is something every girl wants. The texture spray is the most popular and works for all hair types.
7 | Ray Ban aviators are a great classic gift. You really can’t go wrong. This pair has a peachy pink reflective lens which I thought was fitting for Valentine’ Day.
8 | This Prada credit card holder is definitely more of a splurge but it’s something she’ll use every single day. I only use a credit card holder anymore.
9 | Voluspa is another fan favorite candle amongst the ladies. They’re a little more on the expensive side of candles but you won’t be able to recreate the delicious scents they have. It’s worth it.
1 | I am in love with the wash of these jeans by Topman. I also love how the rips in the knees aren’t tacky.
2 | There is nothing hotter than a man in a beanie, or any hat really. I particularly like this one from Topman – it’s super affordable.
3 | These Comme de Garcons Converses are amazing! I didn’t like them at first but now I love them. The little heart sticking out at the bottom is so perfect for Valentine’s Day.
4 | This gorgeous Gucci wallet is a bit of an investment but he will literally use it every single day, (and if he doesn’t you need a new man… jk). If you’re not into the snake you can try a more classic version that will never go out of style.
5 | You can’t go wrong with a simple sweatshirt from Topman. I got Patricio a similar one a few months ago and he loves it. It looks great with a suede pair of New Balances.
6 | My Replica obsession continues even for “him”. This scent is particularly masculine.
7 | Every guy needs the perfect watch. Armani Exchange really nailed the style of this silver one – not too bulky, not too gaudy.
8 | Giving the gift of the “age defender” may be a bit controversial but Patricio would love it. I mean, what guy would not want to preserve his youth at any age? I say go for it. Kiehl’s is just amazing for men and women.
