Business casual… like what is that?! For the longest time I never knew what to wear for business casual but it kept showing up in my life, so as any normal “fashion forward” adult would do, I called my mom, (no, even style bloggers don’t know what business casual means).
When I hear ‘business casual’ in my mind I just hear ‘casual’ and it’s smooth sailing from there, when in reality business casual is anything but, (this picture of me with a bird is what I actually wore for a business casual function).
Business casual is basically anything you would wear in a somewhat conservative workplace excluding jeans and cotton tees. Ok, I’m exaggerating a little but really my ‘business cas’ rule of thumb is make sure your outfit is silky. You will never go wrong with some silky pants and silky button down top like I’m wearing here.
